 Tuff Lions musical voices have been heard the world over with appearances on many of the popular releases that have been played consistently within the reggae industries “top ten” internet broadcasts.

As a major contributor to the roots renaissance movement coming from the U.S. Virgin Islands, he has recorded extensively with artists on both Mt. Nebo Records and the I-Grade Records labels.

The works of this “passionate” musician are broad and include solid performances on a variety of instruments, as well as songwriting and production. Excellent backing vocals also appear. His lead guitar work is stunning!

 Many fans of the music were blessed to see and hear Tuff Lion perform live while on recent National and International tours with Bambu Station and the RED I band. Japan, Europe, North America, Israel, Canada, Mexico and the Hawaiian Isles are the physical places Tuff Lion has visited as a touring musician supporting many reggae artists.

The time has come for this Lion to roar out chants and verses with his voice, fully in front and equally in command of this instrument. With his “latter day” debut CD “Utterance”, Tuff Lion expands the range of his territory, consummately presenting the total versatility of a true artist with a vision. Produced and recorded by Tuff Lion, this seminal work features his full musical scope and combined talents working together to create a live musical masterpiece. No machines or programmed sequences here. Tuff Lion performs most of the CD himself, crediting his influences as guides and has been ably assisted with “guest” musicians.

The CD will be independently released in a variety of formants for purchase. A “Dub” version of the CD by engineer Jim Fox of Lion & Fox renown will be available as well.

 Within the reggae music underground scene, Tuff Lion is a highly respected veteran with a reputation for putting forth a full effort into all that he has been blessed to do. Those already familiar with his history of works will delight in having a comprehensive inlet to this now “legendary” artist.
